The prestigious Hartford Golf Club reached out to Hardwoods Group to help build and design their latest function venue: Room One.

Our task was to make a bold statement while still maintaining the ambiance and aesthetic of the location.

We were confident that we could deliver as oak is a beautiful wood that authentically exhibits both traditional and contemporary design elements.

The contractor for the project had worked with Hardwoods Group in the past and came back with a distinct vision in mind.

Given that the venue would be the backdrop of countless couples’ wedding photos, the project demanded accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

Due to the contractor’s familiarity with our methods, they had no hesitation in sharing their precise requirements, trusting that we could deliver to their expectations.

Our Solution

Our team worked closely with the client to ensure their requests were met at every stage. We sourced extra-large section timbers and machined them to exact specifications. The QPA1 grade quality timber is incredibly strong and stable; ideal for withstanding the elements and maintaining integrity and appearance for a long time.

The production of the oak frames was a significant undertaking that spanned several months. Our team fabricated and delivered an extensive array of frames, ranging from a charming lakeside gazebo to sturdy reception gable frames.  Alongside the frames came our massive solid oak ceiling trusses supported by large oak upright beams.

The customer was grateful that Hardwoods’ renowned  response and lead times led to incredible speed of on-site installation.
