Interior Oak Cladding

European Oak is a perfect material for internal cladding, or panelling, with its warm hue and beautiful grain. Its acoustic properties and durability make it a first choice for stunning internal feature walls, entrance lobbies, grand halls and vestibules. TGV, or Tongue and groove with a V, is a perfect profile to achieve this delightful panel effect, with the strength of the timber ensuring a perfect jointing.

Solid Oak TGV Wall Cladding

Kiln Dried timber is essential for internal TGV cladding and our cladding has a relative humidity of c11-15% ensuring the product’s stability for many years.

Oak cladding in an internal application can be left completely untreated and will provide a more natural look, darkening over time. If the fresh, natural look is desired, various clear oils and coatings can be applied in either a matt or shiny finish.

Fixing on to treated softwood batons is recommended and a secret nail finish is possible given the strength of the tongue.
