Air Dried Waney Edge oak or live edge oak as it is also known is a very versatile timber. The irregular appearance lends itself well to outside projects that want a rustic feel and can be quite eye catching. Air dried Character oak has many features such as colour variations, splits or knots which often makes it more desirable if your wanting a bespoke piece of furniture or needing wider boards for stair strings and treads.
