All of our frames are made bespoke to your specific requirements.
The oak used in every project is available in QP1 fresh sawn or air-dried beams. We can provide hardwood or softwood rafters and straight or curved braces, depending on the project.
We also offer a range of oak cladding options, creating high-quality finishes, including Tongue & Groove, TGV, Featheredge and Shiplap.
1. What’s the average lead time on Oak Frames?
Hardwoods Group can have your bespoke frame manufactured and delivered in six weeks, outpacing the industry average of 12 weeks. Have a rush order? Let us know and we’ll do everything we can to fit your timeline.
2. Do oak frames shrink or warp over time?
Yes. This is a sought-after characteristic of Oak. It ensures that each and every piece will be entirely unique. This process occurs after several years and does not affect the integrity of the frame. The shrinkage and warping are minimal and only add value to the frame.
3. Can Hardwoods Group design my frame?
Yes. Our design team create 3D CAD models from the get-go. These are shared regularly so you can visualise what your final project will look like.
