Client Requirements
The clients wanted to create a sheltered outdoor living and entertaining space that would sit naturally alongside their rural brick property and make the most of the surrounding countryside views. The structure needed to provide cover for dining, relaxing and cooking outdoors, while still feeling open and connected to the garden.
As this was a self-build project, the clients also required an oak frame gazebo that could be supplied ready for them to install themselves, with all components carefully prepared for a smooth and efficient build.
Our Solution
We supplied a bespoke oak frame gazebo designed to suit the space, the property and the clients’ plans for outdoor living. The frame featured exposed oak posts, traditional bracing and a pitched roof structure, giving the finished gazebo a timeless, handcrafted look.
Each element of the oak frame was prepared with the self-build installation in mind, allowing the clients to take on the build themselves with confidence. Clear side panels were also incorporated to provide added protection from the weather while maintaining views across the fields.
Result
The clients successfully installed the oak frame gazebo themselves, creating a practical and characterful outdoor room that can be enjoyed throughout more of the year.
The finished structure provides a sheltered space for seating, dining and outdoor cooking, while the exposed oak frame adds warmth, craftsmanship and a strong focal point to the patio. The self-build approach gave the clients the satisfaction of completing the installation themselves, resulting in a bespoke outdoor living space that feels personal, functional and perfectly suited to its rural setting.
